Nowatec Technology is a growing company. We are interested in getting in contact with young engineers specially interested in working with challenging engineering problems in a multidisciplinary environment.

Student practice

Nowatec Technology offer one position for a student to carry out her / his practice or Master's thesis every year. Applications should be submitted to Nowatec Technology by the end of October 2008.

PhD candidates

Nowatec Technology will offer a challenging 1 year practice position to a PhD student each year. This practice period will enable the student to participate in stimulating theoretical and practical innovative engineering. Applications should be submitted to Nowatec Technology by the end of November 2008.

CAE Analyst - 2 new positions, deadline 30 June 2008

Nowatec Technology are looking for bright and enthusiastic young engineers willing to contribute to the further development of the company.

Job responsibilities include:

• Development of advanced FE model of structures subjected to extreme loads such as explosions, fires and impacts
• Computer simulations, postprocessing and reporting of project results
• Participation and contribution in further development of the company

Educational requirements:
For the positions in Nowatec Technology we are looking for graduate or postgraduate students with the necessary background. The candidate must have well documented competence within non-linear structural mechanics with the interest to combine engineering work with research and development activities. We are also interested in applicants with PhD. The following capabilities are required:

• Experienced use of FE programs LS-Dyna, Ansys
• Good knowledge of ProEngineer, HyperMesh
• Linux, C, Octave, MathLab, MathCad
• Knowledge of calculation methods of sea loads and motion response of floating structures is an advantage

Languages:
Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
